Juego de Go online

🎯 Goal

Surround more empty space (territory) and capture more of your opponent’s stones.

⬤ Moves

Players take turns placing stones on line intersections. Black moves first. If both players pass in a row, the game ends.

❌ Capture

A group of stones is captured when all adjacent intersections (liberties) are occupied by opposing stones.

🚫 Illegal moves

Suicide: you cannot place a stone with no liberties unless it captures.
Ko: you cannot immediately retake a stone that was just captured.

🏆 Scoring

Stones on the board + territory (area scoring). White gets 6.5 komi. Players remove dead stones themselves by playing them out. The higher score wins.
