Report a Violation
If you have found material, a profile, a listing, or another action on Gromadan that you believe violates our Community Guidelines, our Terms of Use, or another person’s rights, you can report it using the form on this page.
We review reports and verify the information provided in accordance with applicable rules and law.
What you can report
You can report, among other things:
- spam or mass messaging;
- suspected fraud;
- threats, bullying, or harassment;
- one person impersonating another;
- unlawful use of someone else’s photos;
- the posting of personal or confidential data;
- the distribution of intimate materials without consent;
- inappropriate sexual content;
- infringement of copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- a suspicious listing for sale, rent, a job, or a service;
- malicious links or files;
- attempts to bypass a block or technical restrictions;
- other violations of the Community Guidelines or the law.
How to submit a report correctly
So that we can review the situation faster, please provide the exact link to the page, post, profile, or listing in question.
In the description, specify exactly what you believe to be a violation and why.
If available, you may attach a screenshot or other material that helps clarify the situation.
The more precise the information in your report, the easier it is to verify its content.
Do not submit passwords, verification codes, bank card details, or other unnecessary confidential information through the form.
Reporting a post or profile
When you report user content, Gromadan may review the relevant post, image, profile, comment, listing, or other specified item.
Depending on the outcome of the review, the material may be left unchanged, restricted, hidden, or removed, and restrictions provided for by the rules may be applied to the account.
Submitting a report does not, on its own, mean the material will automatically be removed.
Reporting fraud
If a listing, profile, or correspondence raises suspicion of fraud, please provide as many specific details as possible.
The following are especially useful:
- a link to the profile or listing;
- a description of the suspected scheme;
- the terms stated by the seller or employer;
- information about requests for money;
- links, phone numbers, or other data published by the user;
- screenshots of the correspondence or listing, if necessary to understand the situation.
Do not send us your bank card details, passwords, or verification codes unless they are required to review your report.
Gromadan does not guarantee the accuracy of offers posted by users and is not automatically a party to any transaction between users.
Reports about personal data and privacy violations
If you have found personal data, photos, or other information about you on Gromadan that you believe should not have been posted, please provide the specific URL and explain which information relates to you and what the problem is.
To protect personal data, in certain cases we may require confirmation of your identity or of your connection to the relevant data.
Personal data is processed when reviewing a report in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Ukrainian law defines personal data as information about an individual who is identified or can be specifically identified, and it governs the collection, storage, use, and distribution of such data.
Copyright reports
If you believe that material posted on Gromadan infringes your copyright or related rights, please provide:
- a link to the disputed material;
- a description of the work or other object whose rights have been infringed;
- how the material is being used;
- information showing that you are the rights holder or an authorized representative;
- the action you would like taken with respect to the material;
- your contact details.
Additional information or supporting documents may be required if necessary.
Copyright-related requests are reviewed in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian law, including the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights." The current version of this law was last updated on July 31, 2026.
If your report concerns an urgent danger
Gromadan is not an emergency service.
If there is an immediate threat to a person’s life, health, or safety, it is recommended that you contact the relevant emergency or law enforcement services directly.
After doing so, you may also report the information to Gromadan if it relates to material or users on the site.
What happens after you submit a report
A submitted report may be reviewed using the information provided in the report, the relevant material on the site, and available technical data.
Depending on the circumstances, Gromadan may:
- request additional information;
- restrict access to the material while it is being reviewed;
- remove the material;
- restrict a specific account feature;
- temporarily restrict the account;
- block the account;
- transfer information to competent authorities in cases and in the manner provided for by law;
- take no restrictive action if the violation is not confirmed.
We are not obligated to disclose to the reporting party internal information about the moderation of another user where such disclosure is restricted by law, security requirements, or the rights of others.
Abuse of the reporting system
The reporting system is intended for genuine reports of possible violations.
It is prohibited to use it for:
- knowingly false accusations;
- harassing other users;
- mass submission of unfounded reports;
- attempts to artificially remove legitimate content;
- abuse of moderation mechanisms.
Repeated unfounded reports may be taken into account when ensuring the security and normal operation of the service.
